How do I open a Vonage account? |
You will need to have existing high-speed Internet service. If
not, be sure to get a broadband or cable Internet connection. Vonage phone
service requires the use of a touch tone phone, a debit or credit card, and a
valid mailing address where you can receive your Vonage Box. |

Will I have to have Vonage installed? |
| No. Connecting your Vonage phone service is easy. You’ll receive
the Vonage Box at the address you provide. The contents of the box include your
free Vonage phone adapter ($49.99 value), color-coded cables, a manual, a
step-by-step CD and a power supply. |

How is Vonage different than conventional telephone service? |
| Vonage is a digital phone service whose signals travel over your
high-speed Internet connection. There is no reliance on your local telephone
company and its analog landlines. All you need in the way of equipment is a
touch tone telephone and the router (Vonage phone adapter) that is provided,
free of charge. |

How does VoIP work? |
| VoIP transfers your voice into data signals which are carried over
the Internet connection, and then back to voice at the receiving end of the
line. Voice over Internet Protocol produces quality audio which is at
times better than landline-transferred calls. |

Is a subscription to my local telephone company necessary? |
| No. You will never have to subscribe to local service through your
area’s telephone company. Nor will you have to hunt for an affordable long
distance carrier. With Vonage broadband phone service, you pay one low rate that
covers all of your local and long distance calls per month. |

Can you explain in greater depth what it takes to get started with Vonage? |
| Sure. Just take your Ethernet cable and plug it into your touch
tone telephone. Connect the color-coded wires to your Vonage router (from the
kit you receive in the mail) and into your personal computer. Pick up the phone
and you’re ready to start talking. |

How does Vonage offer such competitive rates? |
| The technology Vonage utilizes costs less than traditional phone

What are the most outstanding benefits and cost-savings I will experience with
Vonage? |
| One of the reasons Vonage is so popular is the single, low rate on
ALL calls – local and long distance. This includes every call made within the
United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and select European countries (EU calls
included in the premium plans); ability to choose between four plans w/the
opportunity to add on plenty of free and low-cost extras; the mobility Vonage
phone service allows; and the option of selecting from available area codes the
one you would like (so the folks back home can call all they want and only be
charged for local service). |

What else can I get when I open a Vonage account? |
| Vonage, in its goal to continue redefining communication, offers
the features we’ve grown accustomed to paying for with traditional phone service
providers and cell phone carriers. Things like call waiting, call forwarding,
Caller ID with Name, and many more are included in even the Basic Vonage Plans.

How do I select my area code with Vonage's Available Area Codes feature? |
| You may select the area code of your choice. Many people have an
area code preference because they receive calls from friends and family who live
out of state. |

What is Vonage’s Voicemail Plus? |
| Your voicemail can be managed through your Vonage web account. You
can access voicemail message through your email, through any touch tone
telephone, and of course, your web account. Additionally, you can receive
voicemail notifications through your email. It is possible to play your voice
messages attached to your emails in the form of a .wav file. Also, with
Voicemail Plus, you can record and select different greetings for special
occasions and dates. |

Will I also get Caller ID with Name included with my Vonage phone service? |
| Yes. You will be able to see the name and phone number of each
caller on your display panel. This feature will work with Call Waiting so you
can check the identity of incoming calls while engaged in a previous call. |

Is Call Waiting also an included feature in my Vonage phone service? |
| You will also receive Call Waiting – compliments of Vonage. The way
this feature works is, a tone or beep will indicate you have another call coming
in. You can check the identity of the caller with your accompanying Caller ID
with Name feature. |

Will I be able to use the Call Return service with my Vonage account? |
| Yes. By pressing the number five on your touch tone phone, you will
instruct your Vonage Internet phone service to repeatedly dial the intended
phone number for up to thirty minutes or as long as it takes for the line to be
available (under 30 minutes). |

How does International Call Block work? |
| Block any unwanted international and directory assistance calls
when you enable this feature at your “Features” tab off your Vonage web
account’s menu. You can also disable this feature at your whim. |

Is Call Forwarding one of the features included with my Vonage account? |
| Yes. You may have your calls forwarded to up to six phones located
anywhere in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. With Vonage’s Simulringsm,
you need not fret over missing calls ever again. From your Vonage web account,
you can also program the number of rings that sound before forwarding to the
destination phone number. |

Is the Call Hunt feature available through Vonage, and if so, is it included
with my Vonage digital phone service? |
| Vonage does also provide a Call Hunt feature which is popular with
Vonage account holders who run small businesses, with a need for several phone
lines. Incoming calls will “hunt” from between two to ten lines, consecutively.
The call will roll from one to another until it is answered. A simple user
interface is accessible online to select settings. |
